There is a distinct difference between hiring and selecting. You select people to help build your company. All candidates with GQ must undergo a comprehensive and multi-tiered evaluation process to assess their desires and abilities in meeting the requirements of our clients.
This process includes a detailed employment application, assessment interviews, background investigations, and pre-assignment training to help further evaluate the candidate’s suitability.
GQ chooses to select qualified, service-oriented individuals who possess GQ’s core values and have the ability and desire to:

GQ has well-established procedures for recruiting some of the finest security officers in the area. A majority of our officers are former military and law enforcement personnel. All individuals are licensed and screened by one or more of the local security guard licensing authorities. We take great pride in our low turnover rate. This achievement is the result of fair and equitable treatment of officers with regards to promotions and discipline and our excellent benefits program. We are proud to have in place an approved drug abuse testing program to ensure a drug-free workplace.

Mountain Bike Patrol
This is a patrol in which uniformed guards patrol a contract site via mountain bike. This is an effective method in having the element of surprise. Mountain bikes are quiet and can be operated on any site. This also allows the guards access to patrol areas that are inaccessible by a vehicle.
Vehicle Patrols
This is a patrol by a marked patrol vehicle that is a great visual deterrent for deterring crime. These patrols are suitable for any site: small, large, or multiple-site contract. Marked patrols allow a guard on patrol to be more visible while enabling them to cover more ground.
